My daughter is due to leave PPN next week, i can not put in to words how sad this time will be. I just wanted to thank the staff for the consistent care and learning they have provided over the past 3.5 years. I could not of wished for a better start in my daughters life other than her PPN journey. PPN is like a home to home based nursery, full of exciting and interesting activities to keep the children active. All activities are delivered to a high standard and then uploaded to Tapestry (My daughters online journal) for me and our family/friends to personally watch. Its the end of an era. Please do not stop doing what you do best girls- you do the most amazing job every day. Thank you just does not seem enough.

We just wanted to comment on the fantastic care and support our little girl has experienced since joining the nursery. It isn't an exaggeration to say that it has genuinely changed our lives. She wakes up in the morning and excitedly asks "Is it Nursery today?" then bounces in (as do all of her friends). It also means that I can go to work without the awful feeling of guilt and concern that can hang over parents, knowing that she is happy, safe and stimulated by the activities. I also love the home/school reporting system which means that I can see what she has been doing with just a click of a button on my phone. The nursery was recommended by a friend who couldn't speak more highly of the staff and their approach to Early Years practice and I have to say I am in total agreement with her. I'm just so thrilled that she is getting such a positive start to her education.

PPN is an amazing setting and I would not hesitate to recommend it. My 3 year old little boy has been attending since he was 9 months old and absoloutely loves it. The staff provide amazing care to all the children and it is testimony to that care when our little boy asks to go to “school”! Thank you PPN for everything you do!

My work in choosing a nursery for my daughter was over as soon as I set foot through the door in PPN back in 2011. She spent 4 happy years with her PPN family, where she flourished in their nurturing care, and continues to fly high at school, thanks to the excellent start in her education that she received at PPN. I couldn’t contemplate sending my son, who arrived in 2016, anywhere other than PPN so he too has joined the PPN family where he will stay until he starts school. He is happy, well looked after, stimulated, challenged and loved, and I am sure he too will flourish and become a confident and caring child, just like his sister, thanks to the comforting PPN environment and amazing staff.

This is an exemplary nursery. From my first visit I knew that this was the nursery I wanted my little one to go to. All of the staff go above and beyond with the children. I was looking for a home away from home in a nursery and this is it! A very special place and excellent team.

PPN is a wonderful and truly magical nursery. My son goes in with a smile and returns having learned something new every day. PPN provides a warm and supportive environment in which my son has flourished.

My husband and I have been delighted with this nursery, all the staff have been very warm and friendly since 'C' started a month ago. He has settled in brilliantly and is already changing and progressing in his development. He is definitely well looked after by his care worker with 1:1 care for some parts of the week. He is loving the social aspect of being at nursery and has grown in confidence. I have just returned to work and feel happy and relaxed knowing he is in safe hands. The nursery was recommended to us as 'C' has cousins here and although he attends the caterpillar group we have seen the other children grow and develop and are very pleased to have him attend. It is especially comforting to know what he has done/achieved each time he attends. All in all a lovely caring and stimulating environment, thanks P.P.N.

I can not congratulate Ponteland Private Nursery enough with regard to its overall success and achievements. The staff are caring and considerate and always have time to engage in conversation at the end of each session, adding a personal touch. The activities are very varied and appear to stimulate my child. My son always appears happy when we pull up outside and screams with delight when he sees his key worker. I believe the food to be very healthy and nutritious. It's fab to be informed as to what my child has had today through out his day. I can drop my son off at nursery and go to work feeling happy and confident that my son is being well cared for by competent staff who always seem to go that extra mile. I would and have recommended P.P.N to all of my friends and family. Well done girls, you are all Angels.

Alfie had been to the Nursery since he was a baby, as a busy working Mum I returned to work after maternity leave and it was a challenging time. The Nursery helped greatly with the transition and our little boy has developed regarding his personality and in his learning ever since. I have on the whole been very impressed and happy with the Nursery. From being shown around on a Sunday for our initial visit to suit our family/work commitments, to the "Dinosaurs" from where our 4 year old continues to develop and amaze us every day. The atmosphere is great. The staff are warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about the children giving fantastic feedback on a daily basis. I've always been particularly impressed with the Crocodile staff. The new staff at the Dinosaurs are particularly enthusiastic. The children participate in so many interesting and enjoyable topics, play experiences and outdoor play is impressive in view of the smaller space than some Nurseries. A popular view particularly in more affluent areas tends to be that a big outdoor space to play is best but I don't think it is always necessary as it is what is enjoyed and achieved in the area that is important rather than the size. The children learn to share and negotiate the outdoor play equipment and the space. They also play out every day unless the weather is very bad. We have not felt it necessary or practical to change from private Nursery to school Nursery. We did not find it necessary to change what works for our child and the Nursery follows the Curriculum. Alfie has made some good friends and speaks very fondly of the other children at Nursery. The encouragement for children to develop their independence is apparent from a young age. Our little boy likes everything he is given to eat and usually has seconds. He has eaten well with a knife and fork from a young age and likes to help himself from containers like he is used to at Nursery. It is clear that mealtimes are a very sociable event.

Mr & Mrs S(about a decade ago)

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at your nursery in particular the Crocodile team. After looking at other nurseries in the area, we were under no illusion that we wanted our son to come to you. He has settled in brilliantly and raves about what he has done every day. Even on a weekend he is asking to go to nursery. The staff are very caring and extremley professional and genuinely seem to be interested in 'S' wellbeing and his development. Thank you for being so wonderful and making my transition back to work an easy one. Keep up the good work.
